Booking Through Thursday (1): Winter Reading
The northern hemisphere, at least, is socked in by winter right now… So, on a cold, wintry day, when you want nothing more than to curl up with a good book on the couch … what kind of reading do you want to do?
Oh well, It doesn't snow where I stay, but it’s definitely cold here during winters.
If I have to start with a new one, I usually like to read fantasy books with happy endings like Jasmyn by Alex Bell. I also prefer any book which doesn't require me to think hard :)
But, my book choice definitely doesn't depend upon what season it is!
What kind of reading do you prefer ??

I went the opposite direction and said I like to get my big books out of the way in the winter!
I love the look of your blog! Just beautiful!
Generally, I can read anything anytime too.
You'll find mine here.
@Jennifer:
Thanks a lot :) Yeah, for big books, we all need time and patience !
In such cases, I take big books with me when I am out of town.In that case, there are no other small books for me to read..hehe :)
I'm definitely not changed in my genre by the season. It doesn't look like too many others are either. I agree with your happy endings anytime of year, though!
I am not season dependent either. My answer: http://www.rundpinne.com/2010/02/booking-through-thursday-genre.html
Anything fantasy is on my list too. My answer's at The Crowded Leaf.
Fantasy is a good choice. Entertaining, but not too seriuos.
